Introduction
As promised, I have officially started my blog about my experience on Wheel of Fortune! This blog will be driven mostly by your questions about my experience. I will say that I had a BLAST! I will never forget this experience. Thanks to all who watched me on September 18, 2013. I appreciate your support. So let's get this started....ask away.

Is the wheel as difficult to spin; It appears to be heavy and awkward.
ReplyDeleteIt is extremely heavy. We were told it weighs approximately 2500 lbs. We practiced spinning it properly prior to taping.

ReplyDeleteGreat question! I initially applied online sometime ago. I received an email requesting me to submit a 30 second video and the required things to talk about. I then received an email to come in for a live audition at the Venetian hotel. After completing the live audition, I received a call 13 days later to inform me that I was selected as a contestant! I was so excited!!

ReplyDeleteI can't say that it has changed my perspective about life. However, it was truly a blessing. It is a lesson in patience. You have to wait 120 days to receive your winnings after the show airs. My show taped 6 weeks before it actually aired.I was able to connect with people that I met at the show from all over. I love hearing other people's stories. Some I can relate to others I cannot, but I always learn something. It was a once in a lifetime experience for me and my family. I am grateful. I got to actually do something that I had hoped for, for quite some time. I f I can do this, which was out of my control, certainly I can do other things that are in my control. Be Blessed and Live Abundantly!
